Cold. White. Blizzard. Slow drivers. Traffic. Such a simple four-letter word.
Or, according to Michel from Gilmore Girls, snowy weather is "cold and gray, like a fat, dead pigeon."
But snow is definitely much more than that.
Snow makes everything look so pretty. Just take a look at the sparkling snow-covered mountains, or the streets which have been frosted over with a layer of snow, or snow sprinkled on every tree in sight. If that's not pretty to you, then I don't know what is.

When the snow flies, it feels like there's magic in the air. The possibilities seem endless. Snow always reminds me of when my brother and I would put on our warmest snow gear and head out to shovel the front driveway. It reminds me a snowshoeing with my dad, and skiing with some of my best friends in Middle School. Snow brings friends closer together. It makes people forget why they're mad, or upset. Snow makes people fall in love.

Sure, maybe I wore moccasins today, thinking that my feet would be toasty warm all day, only to find, when walking out of the Library, that it was snowing outside. Wearing flats in the snow is like staring directly into the sun. We've all done it once, and yet we never seem to learn not to do it again. Definitely a bad day to wear moccasins.
I just love the mood that a fresh snowfall puts people in.
